About us

Compassionate Heart Africa is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives in underserved African communities through sustainable programs that address hunger, poverty, and gender inequality. Operating primarily in Kenya and Zambia, we provide essential food relief to families in drought-stricken areas, ensuring no one goes to bed hungry. We empower young girls by distributing sanitary towels, keeping them in school, and protecting them from early marriages and harmful practices like FGM. Our youth mentorship and talent development programs equip young people with skills and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty. Guided by compassion and fueled by partnerships with donors, volunteers, and local communities, we deliver immediate relief while fostering long-term change. From feeding the hungry in Turkana to empowering women and mentoring disadvantaged youth, our mission is clear: to build a future where everyone has the tools and opportunities to thrive.
