Quaker Bolivia Link

managed by K. Barratt

About us

Quaker Bolivia Link has worked alongside the Andean indigenous people since 1995. We have installed 55 village water supply projects, built over 500 greenhouses where families are growing healthy vegetables, and run several agricultural development projects. Our work is in some of the poorest rural communities in the poorest country in South America.
We work with the people respecting their knowledge and experience.
Our development projects aim to improve food supplies and health in an area with widespread malnutrition,
.
We have an office in La Paz with a team of local Bolivian agricultural technicians. There is a QBL board in the US and a sister organization in the UK.

Although we are a Quaker organization, our aim is not to promote our religion. We work in villages irrespective of their religious background
