About us
The humanitarian organization "Mission Siret" delivers aid worth approximately €100,000 per month to Ukraine. At our base camp in the Romanian border town of Siret, volunteers assemble relief supplies, which are transported daily into Ukraine. The deliveries are directed to established, regularly monitored facilities, such as shelters, homes for internally displaced persons, orphanages, and hospitals. Needs are communicated in advance, and goods are packed accordingly, ensuring that only what is required is delivered.
To date, around 600 volunteers from eight nations—primarily youth and young adults—have participated, making "Mission Siret" a truly European youth initiative. As a partner of the Canadian NGO GlobalMedic, we also support the work of other relief organizations through our networks.
"Mission Siret" is funded solely by donations and sustained entirely by volunteer efforts. We operate as part of the Order of St. John.
