About us

The Community for Gemeinschaft für Naturschutz Senne und OWL e.V. (GNS / Nature Conservation Senne and OWL e.V.) is dedicated to protecting and sustainably developing the natural habitats in the Senne region and Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Through projects, environmental education, and regional collaboration, it promotes biodiversity and ecological balance.

At the heart of its mission is the Environmental Education Center in Augustdorf, which serves as a school camp and youth hostel. It offers the perfect setting for nature experiences, workshops, and educational programs. Here, children, teenagers, and adults can explore the diversity of nature and learn about the importance of conservation.
