About us

The Gewächshaus is a place for children and their parents and caregivers to grow, play, learn, meet and create together.
For children up to the age of six, there is a facility to play and learn from and with each other. For children of school age and above, we offer workshops on art, culture and sustainability.

We also host the Public Daycare / Eltern und Kleinkinder Krippe, offering space for the youngest children to play and be cared for. The Public Daycare is an art project that was presented at documenta fifteen (2022). Here, carers can learn from their babies and toddlers.

Come and join us! Together with you, we want to create a space in the city centre where children come first!
