About us
Eva Ruppel (German) houses around 250 dogs and cats in her animal shelter in Sri Lanka in the highlands near Kandy, which she founded around 30 years ago.
She also organizes and runs weekly castration programs around Kandy and in her animal shelter, where locals can also have their animals castrated for free or for a donation. Fortunately, locals are increasingly taking advantage of this offer. Some who can afford it leave a small donation.
Donations are urgently needed for this project...
In Sri Lanka, food and veterinary costs have risen enormously, so that one dog currently costs around 50 euros per month, including veterinary treatments.
