About us
Non-profit fishing club of the market town of Langquaid in the district of Kelheim in Lower Bavaria with approx. 150 members. The club waters are the Große Laber and 2 ponds.
Most people are only familiar with the club because of the “Steckerlfischverkauf” on Good Friday and the fishing festival on Ascension Day ;) Our statutory objective is to promote nature conservation and landscape conservation - both in and out of the water. In recent years, the fishing club has planted shady trees on the banks of the water and built nesting aids for insects, birds and bats. An important aspect is youth work and the vacation program to introduce children to the fascination of water.
A major fish kill from the Sandsbach area in 2020 was a low blow. In the following years, the usual life was restored to the waters through restoration stocking.

Es ist geschafft, das Brutrinnensystem wurde angeschafft, installiert und am Samstag sind 12.500 Bachforellen-Eier im Augenpunkt Stadium eingezogen! Die Eier wurden zusammen mit der Fischerjugend vom Fischereiverein Langquaid e.V. eingebracht, 3 sind kurz darauf bereits geschlüpft. Es werden noch einige Wochen Pflege der Eier und Larven nötig sein, bis die schwimm- und fressfähigen Larven in die Große Laber entlassen werden können. Wünscht uns Glück, dass wir eine große Schlupfrate erreichen.
