About us
Rwenzori Community Vision for Development (RWECO-VIDE) a registered non profit making Community Based Organization (CBO) Reg No. CBO/94, established in 2002 by women and men of high integrity.
The organization is a women led, located and operating in Kilembe, Kasese, Rwenzori sub Region in Western Uganda.
The organization also founded Bulembia Farmers Cooperative Society Limited.
The organization was established to enhance development in the rural and neglected areas in the Rwenzori Sub Region, whose target were the poor women, young and single mothers, orphans and other vulnerable children, the elderly and people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
The organization is involved in the following program:
1. Vocational skills training to young and single mothers
2. Improved farming/agriculture
3. Community tourism development
4. Environmental conservation
5. Health and nutrition
6. Women and youth economic empowerment
7. Organic Coffee production
