About us

Mwito Self Help Group is a registered community based organization whose mission is to promote environment conservation through trees planting in communities whilst supporting initiatives that fosters the education of children.
Mwito Self Help Group works with communities and individuals to plant trees in public places including schools, churches, wetland areas and in the water catchments areas. To realize her goal of trees planting and schools classrooms construction, Mwito Self Help Group utilizes the services of volunteers including women, youths, men and children to implement project activities.
In mobilizing resources for project activities implementation, Mwito Self Help Group works with the local and global stakeholders. Locally, the group involves local community people through fund raising efforts and globally, the group works with the SOL Foundation and Plant for the Planet to mobilize resources for our trees planting campaigns.
