About us
Professionally established and successfully launched: Akademie für Gesang NRW e.V. is the name of the singing school in Dortmund that began teaching and hosting events in early 2021.
Since then, we have been successfully inspiring children and young people from Dortmund and the surrounding area to take up challenging choral music.
Singing is fun, and singing with others is even more so! That's why we give young singers the opportunity to make music on an equal footing with others: with their peers as well as with professional musicians. On concert hall, theater, and opera stages. With successful choirs, small ensembles, experienced pianists, and well-known symphony orchestras. In large choirs with many others, and even as soloists in front of large audiences. At the same time, we want to introduce our young singers to the interesting world of classical music and many other musical styles beyond. And we are already succeeding in doing so from elementary school onwards.
