About us

The BRK emergency services are a core component of the overall structure of the Red Cross. After a traffic accident, heat stroke at a street festival or a fainting spell at a music concert - people everywhere can rely on our BRK emergency services. Originally set up for civil protection and disaster relief, their tasks are now much more diverse.

In the event of accidents, the BRK emergency services work closely with other police and non-police emergency services in various specialist areas. At major events, you will find our volunteers as tireless partners just in case.

But the spectrum of the BRK emergency services is even more diverse. In addition to organizing blood donation appointments in cooperation with the blood donation service of the Bavarian Red Cross, special attention is paid to activity-related specialization and professionalization, which is reflected in the specialist services.
