Winter in Peru

  M. Madrid  13 July 2011 at 06:09 AM

Thank you for stopping by to read the post. It is now winter in Peru and temperatures in some areas are below zero. Many children don't have the proper clothing and shoes to wear to go to school in these drastic temperatures.

Teachers without Borders Peru has launched a small enterprise that is generating income for poor families and providing warm clothing for children. We are supporting talented as well as inexperienced community members in sewing clothes made from wool. These clothes are then sold in marketplaces, local schools, and libraries and given to poor families that cannot afford clothing for their children.

Please support dozens of these individuals in the purchase of materials and maintenance upcoming of sewing and knitting equipment by becoming our supporter.

Thank you
