About us
Together for the smallest of us
Our mission is to provide the families of prematurely born children or children born with health conditions with reliable information and support over the long term at no cost. Through campaigns and events, we raise public awareness for the largest group of children receiving medical care: “preemies.”
We lobby at the political level on behalf of these children and their families to give them the best possible chance at participation in the political process and to help make their voices heard. We support medical, social and psychological research through surveys, knowledge transfer and exchange of information. We are an accredited network partner for professionals, experts and other patient organizations.

Die eingegangenen Spendengelder werden ausschließlich für die in unserer Satzung festgelegten, gemeinnützigen Zwecke des Bundesverbands „Das Frühgeborene Kind“ e.V. verwendet.
Konkret werden die Mittel eingesetzt, um Frühgeborene und ihre Familien zu unterstützen, insbesondere durch:
Die Spenden tragen dazu bei, unsere laufenden Projekte und Hilfsangebote weiterzuführen und auszubauen. Sollte sich im Verlauf des Projekts ein Teilbedarf ändern (z. B. durch neue Kooperationen oder technische Anpassungen), werden wir diese Änderungen transparent und nachvollziehbar in der Projektbeschreibung und den Bedarfen dokumentieren.
