About us
The "Ewaldi Children Education Fund" was established since 2003. The organization is part of the Catholic parish of St. Josef in Bocholt. Dedicated individuals in Uganda and Germany aim to provide disadvantaged children with a better future. On the Ugandan side, the NGO is led by social worker Steven Sango, while in Germany, it is affiliated with the Ewaldi parish in Bocholt and coordinated by André Bösing.
Construction of the "Ewaldi Community School," a primary school, began in 2008. Since then, the school has been continuously expanded and now provides high-quality education to 400 students. The dormitory offers a safe place to sleep for up to 300 children. More information can be found at: https://www.uganda-ewaldi.de/

Wir haben 2.984,04 € Spendengelder erhalten
Im Oktober 2025 haben wir für die Kinder der Ewaldi Community School neue Schulkleidung besorgt. Wir mussten feststellen, dass viele der Kinder nur noch zerissene Kleidung hatten. Die Eltern, die für die Kosten der neuen Schulkleidung zuständig sind, sind oftmals nicht in der Lage diese zu zahlen, da sie bei 30 Euro Monatseinkommen, diese nicht fördern können. Viele der Kinder haben daher bei unserem Aufenthalt neue Kleider bekommen.
