About us

“Welt – Fairbunden e.V.” is an association that supports the Sukrop Children’s Foundation – a school in Kayunga to offer comprehensive support to vulnerable children and their families.

We are helping to build a new primary school and, later on, a secondary school. The region is very poor and the illiteracy rate is correspondingly high.

The nearest school is over three kilometers away and costs school fees. The people in the region have many children and live mainly from what they grow on their own land. There is no money left for school fees, books or school uniform. Often parents have never attended school.

We want to help break the cycle so that everyone has the chance to lead a life of their own choosing.
