About us
The Cologne based organization “SOFRA – Queer Migrants e.V.” supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, intersex and queer people with a refugee and migration history. As the first LGBTQIA+ migrant self-organization in North Rhine-Westphalia, it provides a safe and empowering space (SAFER-Spaces) for queer refugees and migrants.
SOFRA is the Arabic word for dining table, where everyone is welcome.
