About us
The Yusra Mardini Foundation uses sport and education as an integration tool and to provide health care for refugees worldwide. With Yusra Mardini, our NGO is led by a woman with refugee experience. We pursue approaches in the implementation of sports and education projects that place people and the reality on the ground at the center of development. We engage with our partners with a particular focus on mental health and protection in sport to promote positive change for participants. In our work, the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect are very important to us and we are guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Wir haben 309,40 € Spendengelder erhalten
Im Verlauf des Projekts haben wir 79 Trainingseinheiten mit insgesamt 166 Trainingsstunden in ganz Berlin durchgeführt. 229 Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene nahmen teil – viele davon regelmäßig. Insgesamt wurden über 1.000 Teilnahmen erfasst.
