About us
The Digital Balance e.V. is a non-profit organization formed by the collaboration of social pedagogues, professionals, former media addicts, sports therapists, and media educators in January 2022. Despite diverse backgrounds, we are united by the goal of reflecting on the effects of digitalization in society. Our focus is particularly on children and adolescents, whose mental and personal development is heavily influenced by digital media. Therefore, we advocate for promoting responsible use of digital resources from a young age and enhancing media literacy. Our aim is to raise awareness of the benefits and risks of digital media and assist individuals in finding a balanced approach. We support parents and educational professionals who are unsure whether their children's media consumption is balanced.
