About us

The association was initially founded in 1931 by 70 members without any land.
Only after several years did the young association manage to lease around 2 hectares. The members initially began gardening on 28 plots.
In 1949, a further 2.05 hectares of neighbouring land were leased. The site had now reached its current size with a total of 63 plots.
Years of development and expansion followed. Paths were laid out, trees planted and a tool shed built.
In 1988, after long and difficult financial endeavours, the clubhouse was finally built with a great deal of personal contribution and the expansion of the site's infrastructure was brought to a provisional conclusion.
More recently, our garden area at the clubhouse has been extended to include a park and green space that can be used by all gardening enthusiasts and the public.
