About us

The youth network Lambda Bayern e.V. is the umbrella organisation of LGBTIQ youth groups in Bavaria (LGBTIQ = lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter*, queer) and part of the nationwide youth network Lambda e.V.. We are young people and young adults who organise queer youth work on a voluntary basis and according to the peer-to-peer approach - by young people for young people. We were founded in Munich in 2002 and really got going with active youth work in 2005. As a recognised non-profit association and member of the Bavarian Youth Council, we promote equality and acceptance of LGBTIQ young people in Bavaria.
