About us

The European education and meeting centre Europahaus Marienberg is a nationwide flagship and curates modern and innovative European (youth) education. Together with the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Europahaus Marienberg Association is the sponsor of the Europahaus Marienberg Foundation - the first and therefore oldest Europahaus in the whole of Europe. The association can look back on a long history.

It was entered in the register of associations back in 1951 and since then, people committed to Europe have supported the information and education centre in the Westerwald on a non-partisan and non-denominational basis. According to its statutes, the aim is the transnational co-operation of all peoples on a liberal basis. The focus is on the union of European states on a federal basis.
