About us

After events such as fairs, when buildings are demolished or after the end of complex productions, valuable materials often simply end up as trash. Often only because there are no structures in place to reuse these materials. This waste of precious resources is absurd, especially in view of the current enormous demand for inexpensive materials. Artists, children's theatres, social institutions, students, cultural workers and other creative minds urgently need these resources for their projects.

Schrott bewahre is a non-profit organisation with the aim of establishing a materials initiative in Hamburg. With the pilot project of a store for used materials, we want to save materials from disposal and promote the local circular economy.

With your support, we are setting an example for climate protection and promoting charitable projects!
