About us
Kinderhilfe Kambodscha eV (KKeV) has been running a children's village in Phnom Penh for 100 children between the ages of 2 and 20 since 2003. Children from neglected backgrounds and without caring family structures live there permanently in a safe and caring home until they have completed public school and can stand on their own two feet. Also, KKEV runs a street children program for a maximum of 120 children in the nearby community of Sen Sok. The children there receive school support and a daily meal.
All children attend public school and, due to their difficult background, receive targeted educational support so that they can complete their schooling as well as vocational training. A local, competent, experienced and long-standing management team works closely with the KKeV board and is responsible on site.
The aim is to provide protection, security and education to the children so that they can stand on their own feet when they leave KKeV as young adults.

Wir haben 4.378,02 € Spendengelder erhalten
Diese Spenden werden wir für die Abdeckung der täglichen Kosten von 2 Kindern im Kinderdorf nutzen. Es fallen Kosten an für das "normale" Leben für Nahrungsmittel, Kleidung, Waschmittel, Lernmaterialien. Dann hat jedes Kinderhaus eine Betreuerin (2 Betreuer für 8 Kinder). Die akademische Unterstützung der Kinder im Kinderdorf wird von Lehrern sichergestellt - auch diese Gehälter müssen gezahlt werden. Die durchschnittlichen Kosten für ein Kind im Kinderdorf pro Jahr betragen EURO 1.600;
