Connection and joy through sports are our guiding principles. In a world with few points of contact between people with and without disabilities, and existing apprehensions, our projects create a space where barriers are overcome.
The Open Ocean e.V. is more than just a surf community. We are a vibrant platform that builds bridges between people through sports. The joy of surfing not only fosters connection on the water but also carries it into everyday life. Water and sports serve as instruments to promote inclusion and create positive value for society and each individual. The Open Ocean e.V. is like a family for its members, open to all."

Vielen Dank für ein erfolgreiches RideTogether Festival 2025!
Liebe Spender*innen,
es ist Zeit für ein großes Dankeschön!
Vom 5.9. bis 7.9.25 fand unser erstes RideTogether Festival in Warnemünde statt. Dank eurer Unterstützung, großartiger Volunteers und Partner sowie wunderbaren Teilnehmenden war es ein voller Erfolg!
Mit insgesamt über 60 Surfer*innen und Volunteers sowie einer ganzen Reihe Strandgäste konnten wir die Ostsee-Wellen genießen, Flachwasser-Aktivitäten austesten und einen Raum voller Begegnung und Austausch schaffen.
Ein der häufigsten Fragen nach dem Festival: Wann kommt ihr wieder?!
Und das wollen wir auf jeden Fall auch im September 2026! Helft uns, das RideTogether Festival auch im nächsten Jahr an die Ostsee zu bringen und zukünftig zu etablieren! Teilt die Spendenkampagne und erzählt von uns!
