Who we are
The European Democracy Consulting Stiftung is an Austrian non-profit association working to advance the study of European institutions and democracy.
Our history
In July 2023, EDC set up the European Democracy Consulting Stiftung, a non-profit association, to manage its pro bono research projects and separate them from consulting activities. Consequently, the European Party Funding Observatory, initiated by EDC in 2022, was donated to the European Democracy Consulting Stiftung, now in charge of its development and growth.
Our vision
Democracy does not come easy; there may be vested interests opposing its development. As a result, 60 years after its creation, the European Union still falls far short of the democratic standards of developed countries. We bring our expertise to support scientific research and a value-based discussion, based on best-practices, that will strengthen our common democracy for all Europeans.

Wir haben 3,40 € Spendengelder erhalten
The donations will continue funding the development of the pillars of the EPFO's Phase II that are currently being worked on, and will help maintain our BetterPlace project active for further fundraising.
