About us

Our commitment is to animals in need - we look after injured, neglected or abandoned animals. We care for them until we can hand them over to responsible new owners or return them to their original owners.
Another important aspect of our work is initiating legal action in the event of violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
We are also committed to raising public awareness of animal welfare issues.
Our members and volunteers dedicate themselves to this cause on a voluntary basis, despite their professional and private commitments.

It is our ambition to establish an animal welfare center or similar facility in Torgau or the surrounding region. In the meantime, our foster homes passionately contribute to the welfare of the animals.
Our activities are financed entirely by donations.
