About us

Wolfen Nord e.V. has set itself the goal of revitalizing an abandoned neighborhood on the north-western edge of Bitterfeld-Wolfen. The aim is to create a place where people enjoy living and working.
Our vision of togetherness is to enable encounters at eye level, inspiration and mutual support.
One of the core projects is the development of an experimental residential area. Other areas include food and ecology, cultural activities, crafts, education and creative industries as well as the development of the district community.
The city administration supports our projects in a variety of ways, including the creation of an experimental development plan on 5 hectares, which legally enables living in a yurt, geodome or tiny house, for example.
Since the association was founded in 2019, several projects have already been established, such as the community garden, share flats to drive the project and a summer yurt or get-togethers and cultural events.
