About us
The Hegau-Jugendwerk, a neurological hospital and rehabilitation center, offers comprehensive rehabilitation to children, adolescents, and young adults following neurological illness, accident, or early childhood brain damage.
The Hegau-Jugendwerk is regarded throughout Germany as a unique facility for young people with neurological damage – not least because its diagnostic and therapeutic services enable seamless neurological rehabilitation treatment: from early rehabilitation to educational and vocational reintegration.
The goal is to do everything possible to enable young patients to participate in life (again).
As the non-profit institution does not receive any public funding, it is particularly dependent on donations for the purchase of therapeutic aids.

Geburtstags-Spendenaktion bringt 115 € für Unterstützte Kommunikation im Hegau-Jugendwerk
Was für eine schöne und hilfreiche Geste: Über eine Geburtstags-Spendenaktion von Florian Siegel sind innerhalb weniger Stunden 115 € von sechs Spender:innen für unser Projekt „Unterstützte Kommunikation für nicht sprechende Kinder und Jugendliche“ zusammengekommen.
Diese Unterstützung hilft uns dabei, wichtige Hilfsmittel wie Tablets mit Kommunikationssoftware, Symbolmaterialien oder spezielle Taster anzuschaffen. Sie ermöglichen jungen Rehabilitandinnen und Rehabilitanden, die sich lautsprachlich nicht oder nur schwer verständigen können, mehr Teilhabe und Mitbestimmung im Alltag.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Florian Siegel und alle Beteiligten, die mit ihrer Spende ein starkes Zeichen der Unterstützung gesetzt haben!
