About us

The local organization SASA Foundation has been working with women and children in Arusha/Tanzania since 2010 to eliminate social inequalities and to accompany women through education into economic independence. We visited the SASA Foundation in Arusha and got to know the school, the team and the principal Jovita Mlay personally.
We are convinced by the concept of bringing education to places where it can bring about social change and reduce the automatic disadvantage of women and girls. With your contribution, you guarantee a child a good start in his or her school career and the chance to obtain a qualified school-leaving certificate.
In addition, we collect donations that are used for the expansion of the school building, school meals and medical care for the children. Our current project here is to renovate the school building and add a classroom. We are happy about every contribution!
