About us

Star Of Hope is a christian Non- Governmental Organization which exist to promote holistic development and empower the vulnerable in the civil society in a professional and christian way. We have Pre-schools, a primary school and Training Institute. Star Of Hope Sweden supports our projects and so they are our advocates. Any financial help towards Feeding program for our children in the various projects should be channeled to the Headquarter for transparency and monitoring. the projects have helped children since 1986. The cost of feeding program has been a problem and it is for this reason that we seek help to provide a decent meal per day to our children. The beneficiaries are slum dwellers and children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. We also request for volunteers to visit our projects and verify the existence even as they get to help us in teaching the children. We have had volunteer teachers, Nurse, Social workers among others.
Our projects include; Star Of Hope nursery School, Living Word Primary, Star Of Hope training Institute, Judith community Nursery school, Star Of Hope Jimba. We also have a feeding centre at Kibarani slums meant to provide one decent meal for the children per day so that they do not entirely depend on food from the nearby dumpsite.
