About us
The organization HOCH-HINAUS – Klettern als Therapie e.V. is a nonprofit association founded on April 22, 2012. We have come together as a multidisciplinary team, using climbing as a therapeutic medium in areas such as occupational and physical therapy, as well as sports therapy. Our goal is to promote therapeutic climbing as an essential component in therapeutic, preventative, educational, and rehabilitative care. Our services are aimed at children, adolescents, and adults with various functional limitations and challenges in daily activities and social participation.
Climbing offers numerous benefits: it combines movement, body awareness, and concentration with trust in the climbing partnership. This not only strengthens muscles but also builds self-confidence and a sense of personal efficacy. Individuals become part of climbing partnerships, teams, and often friendships.
So that as many people as possible can GROW BEYOND THEMSELVES with us!
