About us

We are a small kindergarten with 16 children aged 3-6 years in Schondorf am Ammersee. We were founded around 30 years ago by committed parents in the form of a parents' initiative to increase the far too small number of childcare places available in rural areas.

Today, this parents' initiative and the kindergarten have developed into a non-profit organisation with a full-time management and administrative structure, which can continue to work for our small kindergarten in Schondorf as well as other kindergartens. The parents also provide support through their active and supportive commitment on site, without, however, assuming final responsibility and liability as the responsible body.

An advisory board elected by the full members of the association, made up of professionally qualified and experienced people in the field of independent kindergarten sponsorship and education, supports the full-time board in its tasks on an honorary basis.
