About us
Mampferando is part of Tacheles Wuppertal.
The association Tacheles speaks plainly when it comes to the rights of socially disadvantaged and unemployed people. Tacheles provides information and advice to people facing problems with the Jobcenter, the Employment Agency, the Social Welfare Office, and similar institutions. For more than 30 years, the association has been drawing attention to social exclusion and formulating demands on behalf of those affected, directed at the responsible authorities. The majority of the work is carried out on a voluntary basis.
Tacheles also informs professionals in social counseling through its website, a regular newsletter, and the annually published guide Alg II (Citizens’ Income)/Social Assistance from A to Z. In legislative procedures, Tacheles submits expert opinions and has also provided extensive statements in the proceedings before the Federal Constitutional Court concerning sanctions.

Wir haben 773,77 € Spendengelder erhalten
Liebe Spenderinnen und Spender,
an 52 Samstagen und 52 Sonntagen gab es auch in 2025 wieder jeweils 70 - 80 frisch gekochte, vollwertige Mahlzeiten für Menschen auf den Straßen der Elberfelder Innenstadt. Die Zahl der obdach- und wohnungslosen Menschen ist auch in Wuppertal gestiegen. Die Stadt geht von 120 Menschen aus, die dauerhaft draußen oder nächteweise in Notunterkünften schlafen. Mampferando leistet hier verlässlich und ganz konkret Hilfe. Die Menschen wissen, dass sie am Wochenende mit einer schmackhaften warmen Mahlzeit, einem Sandwich, Süßigkeiten sowie Kaffee oder Tee rechnen können.
70 Ehrenamtliche haben dabei tatkräftig mitgewirkt, als Köch:innen, Abholer:innen, Verteiler:innen und in der Organisation, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Buchführung und beim Einkaufen.
Für Lebensmittel, Schälchen, Kaffee, Tee. Süßkram, Sprit und ab und an eine Fahrradreparatur geben wir jährlich um die 12.000€ aus. Durch Eure/Ihre Spenden auf Betterplace kamen 1.644,96 € zusammen, also ca. 14% unseres Gesamtbedarfs. Allen Spenderinnen und Spendern danken wir sehr herzlich dafür!
Wir machen auch in 2026 weiter und freuen uns sehr, wenn Ihr/Sie alle unsere Arbeit auch künftig weiter unterstützt und damit verlässlich Hilfe möglich macht!
