Founded in 2018 by two doctors, a lawyer and an IT expert, the non-profit organization ensures the development and operation of various online platforms for patients.

By offering the non-profit platform "CIURO", BuildingBridges gGmbH builds bridges between cancer patients, the healthcare industry and research. The focus here is empowering patients through validated information and educational programs, as well as networking with each other and with experts. Another goal is involving patients in decision-making for the individual as well as in the context of care issues.

As an independent and advertising-free platform, CIURO is caring, always available, beneficial and emotionally "warm" for those affected by cancer.
