About us

Listening and Assistance Center Lac is a nonprofit Refugee Led organization working directly with youths Refugees living with albinism and people living with disabilities in nakivale refugee settlement isingiro district southwestern of Uganda.
To achieve our statement mission which is to welcome, listen, orient and provide medical care, legal and Judicial assistance to most vulnerable people in both Refugees community and host communities,we intervene in the following areas:
Health, Sexual and Reproductive right, Human rights, Livelihood,Water, Hygiene and Sanitation, Education and training,and food security and nutrition.
We organize the following activities:
Sensitization on fight against sexual and gender based violence, awareness campaign on sexual and reproductive health, Awareness campaign on WASH, Sensitization on hygiene and intimate baths in women and adolescents girls, humanitarian aid to people living with albinism and people living with disabilities.
