About us

Fell und Federkleid e.V. is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2022 and acts as a life farm for rescued pigs, chickens, rabbits and cats, many of them with physical or mental disabilities. We work closely with the animal welfare association "Rettet das Huhn e.V." to rescue laying hens from barn and free-range farms that are destined for the slaughterhouse after approx. 14 months and place them in a new home. We also act as a lost and found animal rescue center for the Wilstermarsch district, with a focus on kittens. In this way, we offer the smallest cats a safe and loving home so that they do not have to live on the streets.
