About us
The Call of the Watchman is a Christian, interdenominational, national prayer movement that has been continuously spreading a net of prayer over Germany since the year 2000. Many thousands of intercessors have already joined in. They are part of the "Watchman's Call - Prayer Network".
They pray day and night, especially for those responsible in politics and society. In this way they take responsibility, knowing that their earnest prayer counts and creates change. Most of them belong to a Watchman Call prayer group. But there are also individual intercessors. A monthly prayer letter with topical themes gives direction of the prayers each month.
We believe that God's deep desire is for his kingdom to come to this earth and for his reign to become visible in Germany. To this end, he himself calls intercessors as "spiritual watchmen" who do not stop praying for blessing for this country.
