About us
Pan y Arte e.V. (Bread and Art) is an internationally active aid organization. The association was founded in 1994 and stands for equal opportunities and educational justice in Nicaragua, one of the poorest countries in Central America.
Our motivation:
We are convinced that cultural education is as important as daily bread. Because sustainable development needs culture and creativity.
Our vision:
Every child has the right to discover his or her creative talents. That is why Pan y Arte enables children in Nicaragua to access art and culture, closing a gap in the state education system.
Our Mission:
Our five programs are based on the pillars: Music, Literature and Art. In a loving environment, children and young people develop their creativity and grow into strong, self-determined personalities. This gives them a sustainable perspective on life and the tools to actively shape the future of their country.

betterplace hat dieses Geldspendenprojekt gemäß Ziffer 14.2 unserer Zusätzlichen Nutzungsbedingungen abgebrochen.Bezüglich der noch nicht überwiesenen Spendengelder in Höhe von 9,75 Euro, die nicht mehr an die Spender*innen zurückerstattet werden konnten, hat betterplace (auch auf Wunsch der Organisation) entschieden, dass die restliche Summe von 9,75 Euro auf dieses andere Projekt ( derselben Organisation) transferiert wird: https://www.betterplace.org/de/projects/156929-buecherbus-leiterin-markgee-im-exil-unterstuetzt-ihr-neues-leseprojekt
