About us
Huckepack e.V. is the sponsoring organisation of the Free Montessori Children's House Huckepack and the Free Montessori School Huckepack in Dresden.
In our Children’s House, founded in 1993, we currently care for 96 children according to the principles of Maria Montessori.
Our school comprises a primary school with after-school care, a secondary school, and a vocational high school specialising in economics, health and social affairs.
This makes it possible for students to gain all their qualifications at one school, up to the level of Abitur, the German equivalent of A-Levels which pupils sit at the age of 17 or 18.
We also run a vocational school for children with intellectual disabilities which aims to prepare them for work. The school is state-recognised.
Our school currently has more than 550 students at primary and secondary level. Lessons are also consistently integrative, meaning that children with and without disabilities learn together in the same classroom.

Wir haben 748,72 € Spendengelder erhalten
Wir haben von dem Geld bereits in neue Fußballtore im Voraus investiert, obwohl die Spenden noch nicht ganz ausreichten, damit die Kinder den Platz nutzen können. Für den Sportplatz selbst haben wir Pflegevorrichtungen zum Abziehen der Fläche gekauft. Offen ist neben der Ausfinanzierung des eigentlichen Platzes noch ein Ballfangnetz, die Streetball Anlage und ein Ersatznetz für den Volleyballplatz.
