About us

Dravet Syndrome is a genetically determined, rare and particularly severe form of epilepsy, which often show serious mental and physical limitations.

There is still a great need for education among affected families, but also among doctors, health insurers and authorities. There is still too little research being done, which makes the disease so far not treatable or even curable.

Dravet Syndrome e.V. is a non-profit association and aims to change this. We are financed by membership fees, but it is above all donations that make our work possible - namely to raise awareness of the disease, to help those affected and to advance research.
