About us
The St. Gotthardt and Christ parish is a traditional parish in the east german city of Brandenburg an der Havel in the historic old town, in the industrial area of North Brandenburg and in the village Neuendorf. We belong to the church district of Mittelmark-Brandenburg.
We look forward to your visit to the historic St. Gotthardtkirche from the 12th century, to the Christ Church by the important church builder of the 20th century Otto Bartning and to the village church in Neuendorf with one of the oldest surviving schoolhouses in Mark Brandenburg.
Numerous church music events take place in our parish.
Young people meet at confirmation classes, in the young community and during set-up times.
Children are invited to the Christenlehre with an annual summer get-together. We run two day-care centers in Brandenburg an der Havel.
We regularly celebrate family services and are committed to helping people in need.
