About us
The "Schachverband Württemberg e.V." (SVW - chess federation of Wuerttemberg) is the official umbrella organisation for all chess clubs in Wuerttemberg, it was founded in 1953. Its purpose is the cultivation and promotion of chess in all its forms and in all sections of the population. The Association represents the interests of the affiliated chess clubs and chess departments. It considers its special task to be the organisation of chess championship matches and chess tournaments of all kinds and the promotion of youth work. The Schachverband Württemberg e.V. is a member of the Deutscher Schachbund e.V. (DSB - German Chess Federation), the Deutsche Schachjugend e. V. (DSJ - German Chess Youth), the Württembergischer Landessportbund e. V. (WLSB - Württemberg Sports Federation) and the Landessportverband Baden-Württemberg e. V. (LSV - State Sports Association Baden-Wuerttemberg).

Wir haben 1.111,95 € Spendengelder erhalten
Die Spenden wurden zur Unterstützung des Inklusionsfestivals "Württembergischer Schachsommer" an der Sportschule in Ruit eingesetzt. Hier konnte ein inklusives Schachturnier für Menschen mit Behinderung, für Junioren, für Frauen und deren Kinder auf die Beine gestellt werden. Aber lest am besten selbst, was hier dank eurer Spenden ermöglicht wurde:
