About us

The association Nachtcafe e.V. was founded in May 2022. The association is based in Hamburg.
As a team with about 40 volunteers, we are currently pursuing various projects to improve the care of people without shelter and without health insurance in Hamburg.
With the project Nachtcafe we would like to create a contact point for people without a permanent residence.
Not all of them want or are able to stay in an emergency shelter of the Winter Emergency Program.
The goal is also to offer something to eat or drink, a stay in a warm room as well as social counseling.
Other projects are the health mobile with which we can offer basic medical care and a weekly consultation hour in the district of Altona.
Here we treat people without health insurance anonymously, confidentially and free of charge as part of primary care.
We are financed exclusively by donations!
