About us

The Neuropsychology and Psychotherapy Research Unit is part of the Center for Psychosocial Medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), a nonprofit organization.
The goal of our research is to understand mental health problems and to translate new findings directly into effective support and treatment options. In recent years, we have developed various interventions for people with mental health problems, including schizophrenia, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. We make most of these resources available free of charge to those affected, their families, and healthcare providers. We want to help ensure that scientifically sound support is easily accessible.
