About us

Tiwani Foundation e.V. is a registered foundation and has been registered in the summer of 2021 in Porto-Novo, Benin and Berlin. Tiwani, from Yoruba, means "it belongs to us".

We assist people with developing independence and finding a strong foothold in life. Our work is oriented towards building water wells, equipping schools and mentoring young entrepreneurs in Benin, West Africa. The socio-economic situation of the groups most at risk - women and girls - is particularly important to us.

Selected projects 2021-2022

* Water well in Awanou, Sèmè-Podji (Southeastern Benin), completed in August 2021
* Water well in Seme-Okun (Missebo Market, Cotonou) completed in Sepember 2021
* Delivery of table benches to schools in Lokovi and Porto-Novo, 2021
* New Year fundraiser for families in Porto-Novo, Seme-Podji and Parakou, January 2022
