About us
Hello
We are a hedgehog rescue in Petershagen/Eggersdorf, near Berlin in Germany. Our rescue is located on a large, natural property.
Our adventure began in autumn 2020, with two little hedgehogs. When the little one went out into the world after a succesful hibernation in spring 2021, one thing was clear to us – we wanted to carry on helping hedgehogs!
We are now an official non-profit organization, and have a large network of helpers. Last year, in 2023, we were able to help a grand total of 307 hedgehogs.
In order to provide our protégés with the best possible care, we work with veterinarians, who are knowledgeable about wild animals.
When caring for the little prickly patients, we follow the recommendations and standards of the main hedgehog organisation Pro Igel e.V. Of course, we couldn’t help our little garden friends without a lot of pleasure and a deep passion for this creature.

Wir haben 1.016,52 € Spendengelder erhalten
Die Spendengelder fließen weiter in unseren Igel- und Lehrgarten. Während die Volieren ausfinanziert und installiert sind, fehlen nun noch die Hochbeete, die angelegt werden müssen. Dies können wir nun auch angehen.
