About us
The challenges of our times of rapid change are becoming more complex and interconnected. This is why it is becoming increasingly hard for one organization alone to develop sustainable solutions. Open Social Innovation describes the opening of the innovation process to the outside world. External partners such as stakeholders, (corporate) volunteers, researchers, policy makers or social entrepreneurs are involved in the process of developing new ideas, products and services.
COSI is the competence center for Open Social Innovation. We co-develop and implement sustainable solutions to social and ecological challenges with bottom-up approaches and through stakeholder participation. Partners we worked with include SAP, Microsoft, the European Sustainable Businness Federation, Harvard University and the European Commission, among others.
