About us
Ukraine-Hilfe Berlin (Ukraine-Aid Berlin) is a non-profit, humanitarian aid organization. We collect donations in kind and money for aid projects and relief supplies on a voluntary basis. We work together with tested and reliable partners in Ukraine. Together we ensure that help gets to where it is urgently needed.
The recipients are medical and nursing facilities such as hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, retirement homes and children's homes in Ukraine. We also support rescue workers and fire brigades as well as war victims and their relatives with specific aid projects.

Thanks to the fundraising campaign by Jessica Berlin, her community, and donations on Betterplace, we were able to procure another 326 tourniquets together with the Leleka Foundation. This brings the total number of tourniquets delivered to paramedics and emergency physicians in Ukraine to over 12,000.

We purchase the medical supplies directly from the Ukrainian manufacturer SICH and, thanks to bulk discounts, can obtain them for only about €15 each. The tourniquets are then transported to the dangerous frontline regions as part of the emergency medical equipment. This provides first responders on the ground with reliable supplies to immediately stop severe bleeding.

Because Russia proceeds with its senseless war of aggression unabated, hundreds of tourniquets are needed every day. To enable paramedics in Ukraine to continue saving lives, we carry on with our fundraising campaign. Please continue to help. Every tourniquet can save a life in an emergency.
