About us
We are a Berlin multi-discipline sports club with the sports swimming, water polo, modern pentathlon, stand-up paddling, diving and tennis, a wide range of rehabilitation sports and sports courses. In addition, we carry out various social and humanitarian projects, for example, swimming for people with a refugee history, kindergarten swimming and integration through sports. We develop and implement sports projects for children and adults with socio-economic disadvantages.
Since 2012, we have been carrying out special integration projects for refugees. In doing so, we are increasingly working with regional, national and international partners. One well-known example is the Syrian swimmer Yusra Mardini and her sister Sara. Yusra participated in the 2016 and 2021 Olympic Games for the Refugee Olympic Team. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, we have been supporting the Ukrainian athlete family with accommodation and other projects.

In den vergangenen Monaten haben wir vielen Menschen, die aus der Ukraine geflüchtet sind und in Berlin angekommen sind, ermöglicht, in unseren Schwimmgruppen zu trainieren, Sportangebote zu nutzen und auch die deutsche Sprache zu erlernen. Besonders unser Schwimmangebot für ukrainische Kinder wurde in den Sommerferien rege genutzt. Wir danken allen, die uns auf diesem Weg unterstützt haben und weiter unterstützen.
