About us
FEDOMA is an apex body and lead organization of the Disability Movement in Malawi. Founded March 1999, FEDOMA is a non-profit organization based in Blantyre, Malawi. The Disability Movement in Malawi is a network of twelve (12) Disability Persons Organizations (DPOs), as at January 2022, brought together under FEDOMA through their commitment to provide equal
opportunities for persons with disabilities i.e., all ordinary citizens from grassroots to elite, and through the belief to contribute to a better Malawi with equal opportunities for all individuals. These member organizations are represented in the General Assembly as the FEDOMA’s highest decision-making body.
